Nash Guitars PB 57 Black
Nash Guitars PB57
Another timeless classic in the Nash Guitars range that I could not avoid to have here. The PB57 is modelled standard all bass players dream to have. It has been rethought by Nash Guitars, and the result is outstanding.
As for all Nash Guitars instruments, a master sentence could be: “It Feels Right”, and this PB57 sticks to it. Everything is spot on the build, the neck, the medium-aged look and the texture of the tone.
It has an alder body, beautifully finished in black
The maple neck is a C shaped P neck, so it is a bit bulky as you would expect for a P neck. Playing on this bass is comfortable and gives that “feels right” impression I mentioned above.
The maple fretboard combined to the Lollar pickups and the passive electronics gives a snappy, mid-rangy, nice and sweet original sound with the best definition. Simple but efficient: you’re covered in many styles.
Conclusion: A super cool version of a P bass with custom features. On top of the “IT FEELS RIGHT” qualification which is constant across all Nash Guitars range, the additional words I could say about that PB57 are: Damn Cool!
