Sandberg Basses TM5 SL Redburst Paulownia
TM5 SL Redburst Paulownia Super Lightweight
Holger Stonjek is a man that lives and breathes bass guitars and has been building basses since 1986. He has done it with such massive success that Sandberg is now one of the biggest brands in the bass community.
The focus from Sandberg has always been to produce high-quality instruments at an accessible price point. Hence you get a great and well-balanced bass for the money every single time when you choose Sandberg.
The body is made out of Paulownia which are super lightweight and the total weight of the bass is amazing 3,04 kg
The pickups are Sandbergs own black label pickups one single-coil and a Humbucker .
You can switch between single coil mode or Humbucker mode on the Humbucker bridge pickup.
In other words, you can go from the more classic sound of the single coil to the more powerful and punchy sound on the bridge pickup. The preamp is Sandberg’s own 2-band EQ Active/Passive, which plays a pivotal part in that classic Sandberg sound.
All in all, a really great bass that will make most bass players feel at home after playing their first note on it.
