The body made from solid ash, this baby is lightweight enough to sling over your shoulder for a long set, but sturdy enough to take some serious playing. This VM4 features a rosewood fingerboard, which is a fantastic choice for several reasons. Rosewood is renowned for its smooth feel, allowing for effortless playability and a comfortable grip. Sonically, rosewood offers a warm, rich tone with a bit of natural compression. This complements the bright, punchy characteristics of the ash body, resulting in a well-balanced sound that’s both articulate and full-bodied.

The VM4 is equipped with Delano pickups, which are regarded for their precision and versatility. The preamp is Sandberg’s own 2-band EQ Active/Passive, which plays a pivotal part in that classic Sandberg sound.
